The Hospital is headed by Dr. Amit Bhutani who is the medical director and Dr. Puja Bhutani who is the medical superintendent. The aim is to provide best medical facilities under one roof and to work as a team in an environment which is friendly as well as disciplined for all the staff.

Aarogya hospital has two modular operation theatres with high-tech technology and they are designed to ensure that they are completely infection-free, safe and convenient. All the theatres are modular with laminar flow and highly resistant to water, impact and chemical substances.

At Aarogya hospital, sterility is a high priority in all surgical environments. The surgeons’ scrub stations are user-friendly and yet anti-splash. The theatres at Aarogya hospital have one of the most sterile air-conditioning systems in the world. The laminar air-flow ceiling ensures optimal flow of clean air in the theatres. Additionally, sophisticated HEPA filters screen out even the minutest particles of dust and keep the air fresh.

Aarogya hospital has 2 operation theatres, equipped with the latest medical technology, are completely aseptic and dedicated to specific specialities, to ensure maximum convenience and efficiency to the surgical teams.

Imaging, the ‘visual inspection of internal organs without an incision’, is integral to making an accurate diagnosis, charting a treatment course and planning every aspect of a surgery. The department has digital X-ray, mobile X-ray and 2D-Echo facility available 24 hours.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) diagnoses and manages life-threatening conditions that require sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. Specially-trained staff delivers specialized care for patients with Surgical, neurosurgical, trauma and other critical medical needs. The unit is the backbone of all medical and surgical treatment.

Multidisciplinary care

Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team to:

  • Coordinate the total care of patients with acute, life-threatening illnesses or injuries
  • Ensure that treatment is appropriate for all organ systems
  • Respect the patients religious and cultural beliefs

The department is equipped to handle any kind of emergency, while expert staff is on hand to offer care, advice and support round the clock.

The specialized treatments combine intensive nursing and the latest technology to support the patients’ complex needs as they battle their way to recovery. This includes assisted ventilation with life-support machines, employing pumps to deliver essential drugs and to support the heart and circulation.

The Laboratory services of the hospital are outsouced to ‘Manglam Laboratory’ which is NABL Accredited lab and has state of art diagnostic technology and full time consultants in all specialities.
The services include Pathology, Bio Chemistry,Microbiology, Histopathology, Immunology, Cytology, Serology and Blood Bank facility.

Visitor Policy

We understand how anxious you may be as a patient’s relative to be here to hear good news such as “Improvement in patient condition”, or “Surgery went on well” etc. Amidst all these we would like to have your co-operation, so that we can help you in the best ways possible.

Kindly go through the following important information.

  • IN ALL WARDS ONLY ONE ATTENDANT IS PERMITTED PER PATIENT
  • In ICU no attendant is allowed. Relatives can visit only during visiting hours with the visitor pass.
  • Visitors should call the attendant over the house phone to get their pass to visit the patient.
  • Children under the age of 15 are not allowed into the hospital premises unless they come as a patient, as they are more susceptible to infections
  • Patients and attendant are requested to take care of their belongings at all times. The management is not responsible for any theft or loss of valuables or any other belongings. Patients and attendant are also advised to safeguard their belongings in a locker provided by the hospital
  • Smoking and consumption of alcohol in the room or hospital premises by the patient or relative will result in denial of treatment and discharge of the patient
  • Tips to staff are strictly prohibited.
  • In case of any misbehavior by any staff, relatives/patient can contact management block located in the basement.

Patient Rights

  • Right to be treated with respect and dignity in a safe and clean environment
  • Right to be addressed by your proper name and to be informed about the names of doctors, nurses and healthcare team members involved in your care
  • Right to privacy and confidentiality in discussions, examinations and treatments
  • Right to clear and understandable explanation of expected outcomes and to participate in your pain management plan
  • Right for protection from physical abuse and neglect
  • Right to clarify all your doubts before signing the informed consent form
  • Right to request for a second opinion and change of doctor
  • Right to information on patient conduct and responsibilities; services available at hospital, provision for after hours and emergency care, fee for services; payment policies etc.
  • Right to make suggestions and express grievances, receive a personal response to same if so requested and to have continued access to care without intimidation, threat, coercion, discrimination and other retaliatory action
  • Right to know the expected cost of treatment
  • Right to access your health records in confidentiality for your personal information

Patients Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about their health, including past illnesses or health problems, hospitalizations, allergies and the current or past use of medication.
  • Follow the prescriptions and agreed treatment plan, and comply with the instructions given.
  • Make the payment of the bills on time as directed by the hospital
  • Respect the visiting timings and not to bring children below 10 years to visitors
  • Not to smoke or spit inside the hospital premises.
  • Support the hospital in keeping the environment clean.
  • Maintain Silence.
  • Being respectful of the property and privacy of others and of the hospital
  • Never hurting or threatening another patient, family member or member of staff, or conduct of any activity that will disrupt the work of the hospital.
  • Not bring any weapons into the hospital.
